Blogs can create an easier and quicker workplace for students. Students are able to get homework done as well as post fun facts about themselves. Blogs area also good for posting homework in case students forgot what it was. Blogs can also create bad habits as well. Blogs can cut into the amount of time kids have to do homework. Kids can get distracted by posting instead of actually doing homework. Personally blogs are a way to socialize as well as doing homework and other things. Blogs are an easy access for students to bully others. Blogs are overall a large network that has changed society in a more positive than negative way.

Career Day Paragraph

    Yesterday at San Pasqual Academy Career day came to campus. I had experienced career day at Mira Mesa High School and it was a lot bigger and more exciting to learn about rather than having a few career choices to choose from. I felt like there were a lot of basic career choices such as fire fighters, police forces, and the Army. Although a few colleges had attended, they were not my choice of colleges. I didn't get to fully experience career day to my satisfaction. I do appreciate that everyone took the time to come out and teach us about what they love to do. I felt that if they can find their choice of career than so can I, even though I wouldn't have actually chosen the careers they had. This career day could have been better. I did learn certain websites I could go on to find out what profession suits me best. Overall, Career day could have been a better experience. Hopefully next time Career Day comes around they'll invite people that I can relate to and who have the same career as I want to have someday.

Earthquake Narrative

On Sunday there was an earthquake in Mexicali that shook all the way to Nevada. The magnitude of the Earthquake was 7.2 on the richter scale. I was located in the office when the earthquake shook San Pasqual Academy. At first I didn't notice until my chair started shaking and the pictures on the walls started to move. My staff and I got freaked out and ran outside to the front of campus. That night my housemates joked that if we had another earthquake while we were sleeping our overnight would leave us. Earlier this morning I felt one of the many aftershocks that occured. I thought that I was just imagining things. I got out of bed half asleep and asked my overnight if their was another earthquake. Hopefully that will be the only strong earthquake I will ever feel again.

"Spring Break"

This Spring break I went rock climbing and to the Griffith Observatory in L.A. Overall I had a fun time at rock climbing until my fingers went numb from grasping the rocks with my bare hands. The climbing chalk didn't help much either. The observatory was fun for the most part. Hopefully I will be able to go on trips like those again soon.
